Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  3. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure timely payments and collections.
  4. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and audits.
  5. Maintain payroll records and ensure timely processing of employee salaries and reimbursements.
  6. Prepare GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings in compliance with government regulations.
  7. Monitor budgets and provide insights to ensure cost-effective operations.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial data and assist with budget planning.
  9. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.
  10. Ensure all financial data is organized and securely stored.


Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books.
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and other financial tools.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
  3. Experience in handling payroll, tax compliance, and budget management.
  4. Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
